According to The Sun, Mason Greenwood has taken a real shine to life in Spain and wishes to join Getafe permanently.
The young forward moved to Getafe on loan in the summer after Manchester United executives decided against bringing him back to the first-team.
Greenwood got suspended in January 2022 after his partner accused him of rape and assault. After a lengthy investigation, the charges were eventually dropped.
However, the leaked audio tapes of the alleged assault remain in the public domain. And that led to a massive backlash against the club's decision to bring him back.
Since joining Getafe on loan, Greenwood has scored and assisted a goal apiece in La Liga this season.
