Ten Hag considering 'dropping' Casemiro for Manchester derby — reason revealed

Erik ten Hag has 'major concerns' about starting Casemiro in the much-awaited Manchester derby this Sunday, reports Give Me Sport.

The Brazilian, 31, has been a mainstay in Ten Hag's starting XI since he joined Manchester United last summer.

However, this season, Casemiro has struggled to stamp his mark in midfield often going missing in crucial games.

Scott McTominay and Sofyan Amrabat both started in the 2-1 win over Sheffield United. They could keep their places when we face Manchester City at Old Trafford.

Casemiro will not be part of the team to face FC Copenhagen in the Champions League owing to suspension.

Even if he's fit to face Man City, he stands a chance of watching from the bench unless he impresses Ten Hag.
