Marcus Rashford will not be immediately linking up with his England national teammates ahead of their upcoming matches in the November international break.
The Football Association has confirmed that the Man United winger has delayed joining up the squad due ‘personal reasons’. The Englishman will be joining up the squad later in the week at St. George’s Park.
He could now be in doubt to feature in England’s upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta on Friday (November 17).
Rashford has been undergoing a rough patch of form this season and seen certain troubles hamper his personal life too.
His elder brother was recently caught up in a scandal after being arrested in the USA amid domestic violence allegations.
Rashford should join up the England squad soon and could look to target the game against North Macedonia next week.
