Mason Greenwood is attracting serious attention from Barcelona over a possible summer transfer from Man United.
As per The Sun reporter Neil Custis, the La Liga side are ready to offer a fee of around £40m to sign him from the Red Devils.
However, as an extra incentive, Barcelona are even ready to give Greenwood the iconic no.10 shirt that was previously worn by Lionel Messi.
The Blaugrana have been impressed by the Englishman’s performances in La Liga this season in his loan spell at Getafe.
The no.10 shirt at Barcelona and was most-recently held by Ansu Fati, who is currently on loan at Brighton.
Greenwood has made 14 appearances in the league for the Spanish side, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
While Getafe are keen on signing him permanently, they face stiff competition and the threat that the 22-year-old would want a move to a bigger club next season too.
