After Timo Werner snub, another Bundesliga striker 'agrees' to join Man United

According to a report by German publication Bild, Bayern Munich forward Eric Choupo-Moting has 'agreed' to join Man United on loan for the remainder of the season.

United could do with beefing up their forward line in this month's transfer window and the former Stoke City forward has been linked with the prospect of a move to Old Trafford for the past week or so.

Uncertainty surrounding Anthony Martial's future means Rasmus Hojlund could soon be the club's only senior striker.

The Reds were linked with RB Leipzig's Timo Werner but the German has opted to join Tottenham Hotspur instead.

United's reported interest in Choupo-Moting is a curious one, considering the 34-year-old rarely features for Bayern, starting just thrice in the Bundesliga this season.
