Dortmund forward Fullkrug explains why he didn't allow Sancho take penalty

Jadon Sancho won a penalty for Borussia Dortmund on Saturday against FC Koln and expressed his desire to convert the spot-kick. 

However, Niclas Fullkrug ignored Sancho's request and instead took it himself.  Sancho was not really pleased and had to be substituted minutes later. 

"Actually, we also have a small ranking. Normally I'm at the top with Marco (Reus) and Emre (Can)," Fullkrug said after the game.

"Jadon would definitely have converted it, too. He really wanted to score his first goal for Dortmund again. That's coming next week."

 Sancho will hope to get on the scoresheet and help his team to three straight wins when they meet Bochum on January 28.
