Dan Ashworth targets Chelsea man as his first Old Trafford signing — it's not a player

Manchester United are eyeing a move for Chelsea's chief analyst Kyle Macaulay as part of their restructuring plans under Dan Ashworth, according to The Sun.

Macaulay, who joined Chelsea along with former Brighton manager Graham Potter in 2022, is still with the club, but the Red Devils are expected to pursue him soon.

Despite Potter's departure from Chelsea, Macaulay has remained, and his experience makes him a key target for Ashworth as he aims to bolster his recruitment team at Old Trafford.

Additionally, Man United are also pursuing a move for Ipswich Town technical director Sam Williams to strengthen their scouting efforts and identify promising talent.
