Alan Shearer was frustrated with Antony's performance in the narrow 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup fifth round.
During his duties as a pundit, quoted by the MEN, the former Premier League striker said: "He [Antony] might be disappointed he’s coming off but he hasn’t done anywhere near enough to warrant staying on the pitch tonight.
"Same old, same old, get the ball, come inside, pass it to someone else or have a shot.
"It’s not enough when you cost that much money [£82 million]."
Antony missed a glorious chance to put Manchester United ahead in the first half. He was also unlucky to not get an assist as none of his teammates could bury the chances.
It wasn't a terrible performance from the Brazilian but Shearer is right - for £82 million, he's quite below-par at the moment.
