Three loanees who could help Man United next season

The 2024 summer transfer window will open in just a few months with Sir Jim Ratcliffe now in charge.

However, Manchester United are not expected to spend big given the restrictions imposed by Financial Fair Play rules.

With that in mind, we have taken a look at three players who have done well away from Old Trafford loan and could be an asset next season.

Facundo Pellistri

Facundo Pellistri was expected to step up to the first team this year but something went wrong. The 22-year-old has impressed since moving to Granada in January, scoring once and providing two assists in six La Liga games. Given Antony's struggles, Pellistri could offer something next season.

Hannibal Mejbri

Hannibal Mejbri was another player to move to Spain in January, signing for Sevilla on a six-month loan. The La Liga side are expected to make the transfer permanent but Erik ten Hag — or a new manager — could push for the 21-year-old midfielder to be given one last chance at Old Trafford.

Alvaro Fernandez

Alvaro Fernandez has been on loan twice this season, spending six month at Granada before moving to Benfica in 2024. The left-back could be an option for the Red Devils in 2023/24 given many injuries in that part of the defence.
