'It's a bit off-key': Ian Wright believes Ten Hag rumours could hurt Man United this season

Speaking on the Stick to Football podcast, Ian Wright said: "When you look at Manchester United's game against Liverpool, they've got a chance to win the FA Cup, they're got a chance to finish in the top four.

"So for them to be talking about replacing Erik ten Hag now — it's a bit off-key. I mean, if Man United do not win the FA Cup, and they do not get into the top four, then you can probably have that conversation.

"But Ten Hag looks like he might do something. Whatever we think he might do in the future, he might do something. I can't even get into the realms of the pressure he is probably under. He needs something to happen."

The British media are seemingly obsessed with Ten Hag's future at Man United, linking a new manager with an Old Trafford job several times a week.

The Red Devils have been doing much better lately, reaching the FA Cup semi-finals and maintaining their place in the Premier League top race.
