Man who will make final decision on Ten Hag future named — not Ratcliffe

Manchester Evening News report that Erik ten Hag has been involved in planning the summer transfers and friendlies at Man United. It indicates that INEOS intend to keep the Dutchman but his future remains under a question mark.

The report also claims that Sir Jim Ratcliffe does not want to make footballing decisions at the club. His plan is to delegate them to Omar Berrada.

Berrada is currently on gardening leave at Man City after his appointment at Man United has been confirmed. However, he has been active at Old Trafford, holding meetings with the staff.

It is Berrada who will ultimately make the final decision on whether Ten Hag stays or leaves Man United.
