'Class': Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker agree on Kobbie Mainoo's England debut

Speaking on The Rest Is Football podcast, Alan Shearer said: "Kobbie Mainoo looked really comfortable, he just went on the pitch and his attitude was great. 

"He just said give me the ball, let me show what I can do. He wasn't fazed at all, looked really comfortable."

Gary Lineker then added: "There was one little bit where he just got the ball and turned and you thought 'oh that's class'."

Mainoo made his England debut on Sunday, coming on late in the second half in a 1–0 defeat against Brazil following his promotion from the Under-21s.

The 18-year-old has been incredible for Manchester United this season and there's now talk of him making the Three Lions' squad for Euro 2024.
