According to Fabrizio Romano, Mason Greenwood remains the top priority for Getafe despite rumours of interest from other La Liga clubs.

Lazio were reportedly in contact with the Manchester United loanee in January regarding a transfer but Romano has dismissed all such links.

He adds Getafe were the top contenders to sign him and remain so, even as the Red Devils have decided to sell the winger.

Greenwood has scored eight times and assisted five more since joining Getafe on loan in the aftermath of his rape and assault case.

Under Sir Jim Ratcliffe's ownership, Greenwood's decision will be made by the incoming sporting director - expected to be filled by Dan Ashworth.
