Andre Onana was a surprise attendant in Inter Milan’s 2-2 draw against Cagliari in the Serie A on Sunday, a day after Man United’s draw against Bournemouth.
He spoke to DAZN about his decision to come back to his former club, saying: “Inter is a family for me, I love the fans. I wish them all the best. Regrets? No, I'm happy at Man United. But I'm so happy for Inter, the club is incredible and this team is fantastic.”
Onana’s trip to Italy must’ve been approved by the Red Devils hierarchy as Man United don’t have any matches in mid-week and not before the game against Coventry City on Sunday (April 21).
The Cameroonian goalkeeper is getting better and better in his role as the Red Devils’ goalkeeper and recovered well from a sloppy start. He’s made 41 appearances so far this season, keeping eight clean sheets.
