'Players have switched off': Gary Neville makes worrying prediction for Man United's upcoming away games

Gary Neville believes that Man United are likely to continue with their lethargic performances in the matches away from Old Trafford for the rest of the 2023/24 season.

Speaking on the Gary Neville podcast, he said: “There’s nothing left to say about some of the league performance that we’re witnessing and some of the things that we’re watching.

“The tweets and the likes and the body language, all that stuff – we’ve said it so many times before, there’s no point going over that again. The performance levels in the league have gone, they’re not going to change now; what we’re seeing from Manchester United is what we’re going to get for the rest of the season.

“Players have almost, in some ways I think, switched off it feels like, in the league, away from home at times. At home they turn it on because they have to because there’s 75,000 people there who won’t allow them to get away with it.”

The Red Devils have not been able to win a game since the FA Cup quarter-final against Liverpool last month, drawing two and losing one of their last three away Premier League games.

However, the players will look ensure Neville’s prediction doesn’t come true and they can win their two remaining away matches as well as the upcoming FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City at a neutral venue
