According to The Sun, Brentford striker Ivan Toney has lofty wage demands from whichever club he joins next.
Toney is set to leave Brentford this summer after failing to agree to a new contract - his current deal expires in a year.
Manchester United, along with Arsenal and Chelsea, are linked with the English striker. However, The Sun understands Toney is demanding wages worth £250,000 per week.
That's approximately £10,000 higher than what Bruno Fernandes earns as captain in a week.
Toney's high wage demands reportedly led to a disruption in contract negotiations with Brentford.
Since returning from a betting ban, Toney has scored five goals and assisted two more. In 2022/23, he was particularly impressive having found the back of the net 20 times in the league.
