Darren Bent: 'Unai Emery is leagues above Ten Hag'

Speaking on talkSPORT, Darren Bent said: "You've got Erik ten Hag at Manchester United and Unai Emery is leagues above him.

"Like leagues! He's been incredible, absolutely incredible. Under Steven Gerrard, Aston Villa were struggling.

"There were so many bad performances. But Emery came in there and pretty much transformed them overnight."

Villa secured a massive 2–0 win away at Arsenal at the weekend, denting the Gunners' title hopes on their quest to secure a top-four finish this season.

For what it's worth, while there are many rumours regarding Ten Hag's future, Emery is not among the names on the list to replace the Dutch manager.
