Mark Goldbridge believes it would be 'criminal' for Manchester United to sell Bruno Fernandes this summer based on his recent interview.
The Portuguese made the admission that he will decide if to continue in the Premier League or not at the end of the Euro 2024.
Considering the number of high earners at the club, who are barely putting in the hard yards, Goldbridge has shot down the hype surrounding Bruno's future.
Goldbridge tweeted: "Bruno leaving before certain other big names would be criminal. Won't happen."
He added another cryptic tweet: "If I speak...."
Bruno's contract runs only till 2026, meaning he could be available for a bargain price next year. That is, of course, unless Man United tie him down to a longer contract.
A big decision awaits ahead for the captain, who, at 29, is yet to get his hands on major silverware since moving to Old Trafford in 2020.
