Exactly 21 years ago today, David Beckham made his final appearance for Manchester United, scoring a goal in a 2-1 win over Everton on the final day of the 2002-03 Premier League season.
The former England captain stepped up when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was fouled 20 yards out and unleashed one of the greatest free-kicks of his career for his 11th goal of the season.
The technique on the curler was sublime and it was vintage Beckham. He'd been practicing and perfecting his free-kicks since he was a youngster, and it was fitting that his final goal for Manchester United was a set-piece stunner - the sort of goal he regularly scored in a United shirt. David's last ever goal was perhaps his best.
Beckham made 265 Premier League appearances for Man United before completing a £25 million move to Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer of 2003.
