Man United postpone fixing Old Trafford leaking roof, reason named

Man United have no immediate plans to fix the leaking roof at Old Trafford that caused a waterfall after the 1-0 defeat to Arsenal.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the club wants to work on the stadium as a whole, making roof repair an unnecessary expense.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe prefers to rebuild Old Trafford on the existing site. He has previously described the stadium as "run down".

So far, it is unclear when the rebuild will start.
