Amad once again compared to Lionel Messi after Newcastle heroics

A former Manchester United Academy starlet has hailed Amad Diallo as the legendary Lionel Messi following his wonder goal in the 3-2 win over Newcastle United.

Amad has been the talk of town following his electrifying performance down the wings. With two games remaining, he's made a strong case to be involved.

Reacting to Amad's Instagram post, Noam Emeran, who played with Amad at the Academy, wrote: "Leo Messi."

This is not the first time Amad's been compared to Messi; his former Atalanta teammate Papu Gomez has said in the past: "He [Amad] is a future star, trust me.

"During our training, he seems like Lionel Messi! You can’t stop him."
