Harry Maguire has admitted some players could be sold after failing to deliver the goods at a club like Manchester United.
In an interview with The Sun, the centre-back addressed the heavy pressure that comes with donning the red shirt: "[Pressure] it is what happens when you play for this club.
"If you don’t get good results, players get scrutinised, players get linked with a move away.
"They get sold, put on the transfer list and the manager will come under pressure.
"I have been here five years now so I know what happens.
"The manager [Erik ten Hag] is experienced enough to know it is part and parcel of being at this club. I am sure he can deal with that."
Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial are already confirmed to leave and a few more players could follow.
The likes of Casemiro have been targetted by criticism, prompting links to Saudi Arabia and whatnot.
Offloading players is one thing; Man United also need to prepare to sign better ones to avoid having a squad with no depth.
