Erik ten Hag to Roy Keane: 'You had trouble managing a team'

In a light-hearted moment after Manchester United's 2-1 win over Manchester City in the FA Cup final, Erik ten Hag served a slice of humble pie for Roy Keane.

Discussing the shortcomings of the Red Devils this season, Keane commented about Ten Hag's inconsistent reign.

The Dutchman, trudging a tight rope, remarked: "You had trouble managing a team."

Ten Hag is, of course, referring to Keano's stints as manager for Sunderland and Ipswich Town.

However, the Man United legend's spirits couldn't be marred after the epic win.

Keano jokingly retorted: "I won a Championship at Sunderland, give me some praise. Don't be too harsh on me. Haha, I''d some tough days, too."
