Fernandes provides update on Man United future after FA Cup triumph

“I want to stay at Manchester United,” Bruno Fernandes said. “They know my intentions: I want to keep lifting trophies here, or at least keep competing for them until the last minute”.

Fernandes told Sky Sports last week that he will leave United "if the club doesn't want to have me" amid speculation over his future.

The club skipper still has two years remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, but has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich and Saudi Arabia in the summer.

Fernandes scooped Manchester United’s Player of the Year award on Thursday for the third time since his arrival at the club from Sporting Lisbon in 2020.

Only Cristiano Ronaldo and David de Gea have won the award more times than him.
