Denmark boss addresses Rasmus Hojlund's drop in goals

Kasper Hjulmand believes Rasmus Hojlund will rediscover his scoring boots again after going eight international games without a goal.

Hojlund is currently with Denmark at the Euro 2024, where they prepare to face Slovenia for the first game.

The Manchester United forward, however, has been backed by his manager to get the goods eventually.

Quoted by the MEN, Denmark boss Hjulmand explained: "It [goals] comes in phases. Sometimes you have this period where you score a lot of goals.

"But thankfully Rasmus always makes a big impression in every game.

"He's dangerous and he's fully motivated but he always makes a difference, which is the most important thing.

"The goals will come and sometimes you're gonna have to fight more for the goals and other times they're just gonna go in every time you kick."

Hojlund failed to score many goals towards the end of 2023/24 despite showing a different side in the middle part of the campaign. Now, if he gets going in the Euro, that could help Man United during pre-season.
