According to The Telegraph, Manchester United have not given up on their pursuit of Manuel Ugarte after facing rejection in their first bid.
The Red Devils reportedly submitted a bid worth £25 million for Ugarte, who joined PSG only last summer from Sporting CP.
That's nearly 50% less than what PSG want; the Ligue 1 giants are holding out for a fee in the region of £50 million.
They paid £51 million to acquire his services a year ago and believe they are being fair.
Man United remain in negotiations with PSG as they are now expected to submit a revised bid.
The Uruguayan midfielder played 37 times across competitions for the French side last season.
