According to Fabrizio Romano, PSG are prepared to let Manuel Ugarte leave for Man United this summer.
That is because they’re looking to clear up space in their squad and also get a financial boost needed to sign Benfica midfielder Joao Neves.
The Portuguese midfielder has also been heavily linked to a move to the Red Devils. But his huge release clause of €120m has caused Man United to look at other options.
Neves has already agreed personal terms with PSG. The French club are now trying to negotiate on the fee with Benfica.
The Red Devils are in active talks with the Ligue 1 side to reach an agreement for Ugarte’s signing. As per L’Equipe, PSG are reportedly asking for nearly £59m to get the deal done, something which Man United are not willing to pay.
Ugarte made 37 appearances for the French club last season, providing three assists in all competitions.
