Mason Greenwood sealed his permanent move to Marseille and marked his exit from Man United after being associated with the club for 17 years.
The Englishman didn’t really send any message to his former club's fans. Instead made a post on Instagram about his signing and how he was ‘really excited’ for the new chapter in his career.
Many Greenwood’s former teammates at Old Trafford took time to congratulate him on his move and wish him the best, including Jadon Sancho.
The winger just posted a ‘hands up’ emoji to encourage Greenwood. The likes of Shola Shoretire, Anthony Elanga and Angel Gomes also sent motivational message to the 22-year-old.
Greenwood leaves Man United after having made 129 appearances for the Red Devils, in which he scored 35 goals and provided 12 assists.
