The Welshman has started in four last matches, however, his performance against Eibar was extremely poor. He gave the ball away 21 times and had just two attempts on goal. Perhaps, it is time for Bale to be benched? He hasn't been at his best lately even though he scored and assisted in the most recent Champions League showdown against Viktoria Plzen which resulted in an impressive 5-0 win.
Shouldn't Lucas Vazquez take Marco Asensio's place?
The 22-year-old started against Eibar and once again failed to impress: he made fewer passes than any other Madrid starter - 21 with only 16 out of them turning out to be successful. He was on the bench in two previous fixtures and, perhaps, it should remain this way as the youngster is clearly unable to cope with the great weight of responsibility. Lucas Vazquez, meanwhile, usually lightens up Blancos' struggling attack.
Who should replace Casemiro?
The powerful midfielder sprained his ankle against Celta and was replaced by Dani Ceballos. However, the petite midfielder got overpowered by Eibar players as he only won 30% of his duels. In fact, the Brazilian's natural replacements are two other promising starlets - Marcos Llorente and Federico Valverde. Both are included in the match squad against Roma, by the way.

Raphael Varane has been obviously below his usual level as Madrid have already conceded 18 goals with him on the pitch.
