Liverpool, Dortmund & Atletico all eye Odegaard as Madrid starlet price skyrocket

According to reports from the Daily Mail and Mirror, quite a few European top clubs have become interested in signing Martin Odegaard after witnessing the midfielder's spectacular performances at Real Sociedad during the 2019-2020 season.

The likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, Atletico and Inter are reportedly actively tracking the midfielder sending scouts to watch his performances for Real Sociedad.

Moreover, according to the Daily Mail, Los Blancos have put a £62m price tag on the 20-year-old midfielder. Taking into account Martin's recent for at La Real which saw him claiming the September Player of the Month award, Madrid might want to reevaluate the player once again.

Meanwhile, according to Marca, Los Blancos have no intetion of selling Odegaard whatsoever. Florentino Perez, being the experienced businessman that he is, made sure that the Norwegian rising star stays a Madrid player. At least until 2023, that is. Marca say that Martin's renewed contract with Los Blancos includes a 350 million euros release clause for anyone interested.

Meanwhile, Odegaard is not planning to leave La Liga anytime soon: "My intention is to stay [at Sociedad] two years and I think that's important for me, too. I have had two seasons in a row where I've changed teams. To have some stability is good [and] this is a great club and hopefully, we can get European football for next season."

Martin started in every September match with Sociedad winning three out of four league games. They have defeated Atletico Madrid (2-0), Espanyol (3-1), and Alaves (3-0). The only side that managed to stop Odegaard and Co. are Julen Lopetegui's Sevilla (3-2).

The midfielder scored a goal against Simeone's team and made two assists during the matches against Alaves and Sevilla. Sociedad will take on Getafe on October 6 with our loanee ready to start another month with a glorious performance.
