Spartak Moscow legend, Nikita Simonyan: Denis Cheryshev should return to Russia

Nikita Simonyan, the legendary Spartak Moscow striker and current vice-president of the Russian Football Union, has recommended Denis Cheryshev consider joining his former club: "Denis needs to play more regularly, to be part of a first 11. Even more so because we have the European Championship around the corner," Simonyan said. "I advise him to sign for a Russian club, Spartak for example. As a fan of the club I would love to see him in the red-and-white shirt. But the decision is Cheryshev's."
