Fifth Champions League Clasico could be on cards if both Real Madrid and Barcelona win two more games

• On Friday, the pairs for the Champions League knock-out stages have been drawn with Real Madrid possibly facing Barcelona in the semi-finals.
• First, the Whites need to overcome Manchester City in the second leg of the round of 16 and Juventus or Lyon in a single-leg quarter-final.
• Los Bancos lost the first leg 1-2 at the Bernabeu despite Vinicius scoring the opener.
• Barcelona have it slightly easier: they drew the away leg against Napoli 1-1 thanks to Antoine Griezmann's goal.
• However, they still need to defeat either Bayern or Chelsea in the quarter-final to have a chance to face Madrid.
• If everything goes smoothly, the 2019-2020 Champions League semi-finals would see the fifth Clasico in the history of the UEFA competitions.
• Real Madrid and Barcelona faced each other in 1959-1960, 1960-1961, 2001-2002 and 2010-2011, with the balance so far being even.
• The most recent encounter saw the Catalans winning 3-1 on aggregate in the semi-finals. We definitely need a re-match on this!
