Varane 9, Vinicius 5: rating Real Madrid players in Huesca win

The Frenchman was decent in defence and a marvel in attack, as he scored two goals to turn the score around and win Real Madrid the game. What's equally important, Varane didn't commit any mistakes at the back.

Another day, another brilliant performance from Toni Kroos. The German once again demonstrated his passing skills and the ability to lead the midfield. Besides, Varane scored his second goal after a great set-piece from Kroos.

The 33-year-old didn't get to score but played a big role in the comeback nonetheless. Benzema had three great shots, one of which was luckily saved by Huesca's goalkeeper.

The youngster had a few good plays against Huesca but has been underwhelming overall. Although his dribbling was as good as ever, Vinicius rarely made the right passes and lost too many balls.

Most of Huesca's dangerous attacks came from their left side, the one Odriozola was supposed to defend. The Spaniard was often caught out of position, as he pushed perhaps too high. And that would've been easier to forget had he played at least some role in Real Madrid's attacks.

Others: Courtois — 7.5, Nacho — 7, Mendy — 6.5, Casemiro — 7.5, Modric — 6, Asensio — 6.5, Marcelo — 6.5, Mariano — 6, Marvin — 6.
