The King of football and Brazil legend Pele has sent an encouraging message to Kylian Mbappe after the Frenchman missed a decisive penalty in the penalty shootout against Switzerland.

'Keep your head up, Kylian! Tomorrow is the first day of a new journey," he wrote via his Twitter account.

After the game, Mbappe admitted that the 'sadness is immense' and that it would be hard to sleep after such a loss.
