On Saturday, the city of Madrid was transformed into a sea of white as Los Blancos celebrated their 35th La Liga title.
Interestingly, Carlo Ancelotti secured the points needed despite fielding a heavily rotated lineup.
Thus, the following players can see us through the remaining 4 games of the season, without warming the bench since we have nothing to lose in the league.
Mariano
Mariano started against Espanyol and showed signs of tardiness and match rustiness. Ancelotti needs to help him by giving him more minutes in the coming games. He's only played 7 La Liga games this term, starting just two.
Vallejo
Jesus Vallejo played 90 minutes against Espanyol and helped the team keep a clean sheet in the 4-0 win. He's only played 2 La Liga games this season. There's no reason to keep benching him now.
Isco
Isco is on his way out of Real Madrid at the end of the season. He still proved he has the magic touch with his goal against Espanyol. Wouldn't hurt to see him more often before the season ends.
Ceballos
Ancelotti has praised Dani Ceballos a lot but still hasn't played him that regularly. It would only be fair to hand him those minutes in the remaining four games.
Lunin
It's really sad to see Andriy Lunin rot on the bench due to the form and fitness of Courtois. There's really no point for that now with the league title already in the bag.
Gila
If there's a Castilla graduate we want to see before the end of the season, it's Gila. We saw him for 15 minutes against Espanyol and he didn't put a foot wrong. The centre-back can be given a lot of confidence by starting at least two of the remaining 4 games this term.
We would've added Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard to the list, but we can't tell if they're even interested in playing again this season. They just keep giving injury excuses.
