Camavinga 5.5, Vini 2: rating Madrid's worst players in Valencia win

Although Real Madrid managed to beat Valencia and advance to the Spanish Super Cup final, the team's performance was far from convincing. Here are the five players that, in our opinion, performed the worst.

The young midfielder was sloppy in possession and showed no creativity going forward. Camavinga's lack of discipline showed again as he picked up a yellow card early in the game. His half-time substitution, although it might've been motivated by a minor injury, was absolutely deserved.

The veteran came on as a sub after the break but had no visible contribution to the game. No key passes, no chances created, and limited defensive contribution. The only positive was the penalty kick he converted.

The right-back is entirely at fault for the conceded goal. His poor positioning might've cost us the game. Besides, Vazquez did not contribute to the attack.

Besides the chance he missed early on, the Brazilian was barely visible throughout the game. Rodrygo constantly asked for the ball but seemed unable to do anything with it once in possession. Also, could've done more defensively.

Vini looked like his old self today. The winger was wasteful on the ball, often unable to beat his defenders, and at times took too long to decide. Madrid could've won the game in regular time but Vinicius could not convert a one-on-one in the added time.

Others: Courtois 9, Rudiger - 7.5, Militao 7, Nacho 7, Kroos 7.5, Valverde 7.5, Benzema 7.5, Carvajal 6, Asensio 5.5, Mendy 6, Ceballos 6.5.
