9 Real Madrid players who may play their last game for the club this week

The Athletic Bilbao game on Sunday could be the last for some of the Real Madrid players.

Here we name them, from most to least likely.

Mariano Diaz. The striker's contract expires in a month and there's literally not a chance he will continue at Bernabeu.

Nacho, Dani Ceballos, Marco Asensio. The trio seem unlikely to accept their contract extensions offered by the club. According to Marca, however, Los Blancos will sit down with the players' representatives in a final attempt at making them stay.

Ferland Mendy. The Frenchman's injury record is the main reason why the Whites want to offload him. With Fran Garcia on the way and the interest from the Premier League sides, he might actually leave the club come summer.

Eden Hazard, Andriy Lunin. The Belgian's wages are pretty much a burden to the club and offloading the winger would come in very handy but, given his recent shape, there aren't that many sides interested in the player.

As for the Ukrainian goalkeeper, his deal expires in 2024 but he could may opt to leave himself for lack of playing time.

Alvaro Odriozola. The defender's played a total of 92 minutes for the club this season. Given the interest from several La Liga sides, including Sociedad and Bilbao, he could also move away from Bernabeu.

Karim Benzema. The French forward has a lucrative offer from the Middle East, the one that's hard to resist, it should be said. He is, however, keen on staying in Spain for one last dance.
