Replace Benzema, sanction more exits and more: Ancelotti's to-do list this summer

The changes are coming thick and fast at Real Madrid. This summer, four players have already left including key players like Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio. Still, more changes are expected as we countdown to the reopening of the transfer window.

Carlo Ancelotti is the man who will call the shots regarding what the squad will look like at the start of next season depending on how much money the club are willing to spend.

Have a peek at what Ancelotti's to-do list could look like:

Sign a striker

Real Madrid must sign a striker to replace Benzema. There's no simpler way to put it. Ancelotti must've pencilled down some options.

Harry Kane. The English striker is said to be top of Madrid's priorities for the summer.

Victor Osimhen. The Napoli striker has also been linked to Madrid. However, sources say he's not a priority target.

Kai Havertz. The German forward seems to be growing closer and closer to joining Madrid.

Lautaro Martinez. The Inter Milan striker is an outsider in the race to become Madrid's main striker this summer, but Marca says he's on the list.

Sanction more exits

Benzema, Asensio, Mariano and Hazard have all left the club, but Real Madrid can still offload more players. Who could Ancelotti let go?

Dani Ceballos. The midfielder is in the last year of his contract. Ancelotti must decide if he will continue to keep him as a backup.

Alvaro Odriozolo. The defender played just 92 minutes of football in the entire season - that's even less than Hazard and Mariano. Will Ancelotti continue to keep him?

Jesus Vallejo. Some people are beginning to forget he's still at Real Madrid.

Ferland Mendy. The defender is said to be on Madrid's transfer list. The coach must give his word.

Sign Bellingham and a fullback

The talk about Jude Bellingham has gone on endlessly. Ancelotti would prefer to sign him now to allow the teenager to join Real Madrid for preseason.

Real Madrid also needs to sign a full-back, particularly if Mendy leaves. Ancelotti may have a few options on his list.

✍️Alphonso Davies. Real Madrid can certainly afford the Bayern Munich left-back if the Bavarian decides to sell him.

✍️Joao Cancelo. The Portuguese full-back has already been linked to Real Madrid.
