'He's very mature': Fede Valverde tips Bellingham to become Real Madrid captain

"Jude Bellingham? He's very mature and experienced, it seems he's been here since ever. He's a special guy, a very positive person. He can become a captain and be a legend here," Fede Valverde told a press conference on Monday.

It's quite a compliment to rate an Englishman who only recently joined Real Madrid as a possible captain in the future.

Nacho, Modric, Carvajal and Kroos are currently Real Madrid's four captains. It's likely that Modric, Nacho and Kroos leave in the summer which means Real Madrid will have to elect three new captains.

"It's my dream to be Real Madrid's captain one day," Valverde added, declaring he also eyes the prestigious responsibility.

This year, Valverde was named captain o the Uruguay national team.
