Arda Guler still stands a good chance of getting an invite to the Euros this summer, according to Turkiye manager Vincenzo Montella.
"We are following Arda Guler's situation very closely. He has played little so far, but he is a very talented player," Montella told the media.
"We will invite our players who are in their best physical condition for Euro 2024," the Italian manager said.
Guler's Real Madrid career started with a bump as he suffered two serious injuries at the beginning of the season.
The teenager returned from injury at a time when the team was doing ever so well and found no place in the team even as a late substitute.
Carlo Ancelotti has only started the Turkish international in one Copa Del Rey game so far this season. He's managed to play 92 minutes in his five appearances for Los Blancos.
However, Guler is a prized talent of Turkish football and will play at the Euros if he can stay fit.
