Arda Guler grabbed headlines on Sunday night by scoring his first Real Madrid goal at the Santiago Bernabeu in Los Blancos' 4-0 win against Celta Vigo.
Speaking after the special occasion Guler said: "I’m very happy to be at Real Madrid. It’s the best club in the world.
"Although it’s difficult, I believe I have the quality and character to overcome.
"It’s been a tough season so far, but I hope better things come after this goal," the youngster added.
Guler would later take to X to share a picture of his lovely celebration on the night. He captioned it "Let's get it started."
Guler has truly struggled to find his feet at Real Madrid this season. First, he suffered two injuries at the start of the campaign that kept him out for six months. Then he returned to fight for a place in a team in brilliant form. It all necessitated his bit-part role under Ancelotti.
Guler has played just 93 minutes across his six appearances for Real Madrid this season. His only start came in the Copa Del Rey against Arandina.
