Real Madrid forward Endrick spoke to Diario AS on a range of topics before he officially joins the club later this year.
When asked why he chose to join Los Blancos over Barcelona or PSG, he answered: “It wasn't a choice, Real Madrid was always a dream. I didn't have to choose anything, I just realised a dream.”
The teenage sensation was also questioned if he feels the threat on competing with Kylian Mbappe for the centre-forward role at Real Madrid . He replied: “In a winning group, no player is a threat to another.
“The best club in the world always has to look for the best in all positions, always. Being next to great players and fighting for a position with them will only make me improve, reach a higher level and conquer more titles, because the club titles are the most important goals.”
Endrick will be joining Real Madrid’s first-team squad in the summer. He is poised to start training with the senior squad from pre-season and is unlikely to be loaned out to anywhere next season.
The 17-year-old forward has made 10 appearances for Palmeiras in 2024. He's scored two goals and provided one assist across all competitions.
