Girona’s winger has now fully replaced the legend of the national team that is Andriy Yarmolenko, pushing him to a lesser role. Viktor Tsygankov is a graduate of the Dynamo academy and, like Yarmolenko, he plays on the right side but can cover almost any position in the forward line. Has outstanding game intelligence and creates goals both for himself and his teammates. Tsygankov's transfer to Girona proved a real success for the Spanish club and is one of the key reasons for their fantastic performance in La Liga and a first Champions League qualification. The only thing that may hinder the winger's development is regular injuries. Tsygankov has never suffered a serious issue, but he is frequently sidelined with niggles. Last season, he missed over 10 matches because of four separate injuries, struggling to manage the heavy workload caused by so many fixtures.
