Really the point here is about longevity.
Diego was past his prime even in the 1990 WC .

Someone should remember Rummenigge that , I don’t agree with him. Bcuz we all witness that, Messi is a player, even defenders take him down , but yet he still keeps the ball on his feet and doesn’t dive for fouls. He doesn’t easily fall in for fouls , even on hard tackles. Rummenigg watch Messi games before you comment about him. even though Rummenigge is jealous Messi has more Ballon D’Or than him and secondly, if Messi was to be in his years , Messi could sweep the awards from him , because During those years, No RULES like Offside. Imagine Messi in those erra, scoring without Offside Lol. Imagine those days Messi playing with hard ecstasy without no medical check up’s LOL ..
