Feyenoord chief reveals La Liga outfit have joined race for Arsenal's reported target Orkun Kokcu

"There are no offers. But we are aware of Sevilla’s interest," Feyenoord's chief Frank Arnesen said as quoted by the Daily Mail.

"We have held meetings, and there are four clubs interested in him, one of them is Sevilla.

"There is nothing official yet, and no offers have been received."

The first report concerning Arsenal's interest in the Turk emerged in October last year. The Daily Mail insisted that the Gunners were monitoring the progress of the developing talent.

The following report from the same source in February 2020 claimed that the Turk, who is rated at £23m, was a priority target on Mikel Arteta's summer wishlist.

Last month, speaking about rumours linking Arsenal with a move for Kokcu, Feyenoord boss Dick Advocaat said: "It seems that what I read (about Arsenal) is true, but no one has yet come to Feyenoord (to make their interest clear). 'I think he fits in everywhere."

The attacking midfielder was promoted to the senior squad at the start of the season to make impressive progress.

He's enjoyed regular playing time scoring 3 goals and delivering 6 assists in 35 appearances across all competitions so far this term.
