The Emirates' maximum capacity is slightly above the 60,000 mark which makes it impossible for the Gunners to compete with Man United as Old Trafford hosts 75,000 supporters.

Arsenal's record attendance stands at 73,707, the figure reached in 1935 at Highbury.

Before the completion of Highbury in 1913, the Gunners also played their home games at the Manor Ground in South East London.
