Nicolas Pepe may have dropped a hint that Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes is on his way to Arsenal.
The Brazilian is believed to be a part of Mikel Arteta's summer transfer plans. The centre-back has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates lately.
Ex-teammates Pepe and Gabriel seems to be still in touch. The Ivorian engaged with the Brazilian on Instagram.
On Friday, the defender posted a picture of him on the pitch with the following caption: “What makes me happy."
The winger then dropped a comment in French about the caption being in English.
“I admit you speak English," he wrote.
Earlier, Gabriel's brother was spotted in an Arsenal shirt.
According to French outlet La Voix du Nord, quite a reliable source when it comes to Lille-related news, Gabriel Magalhaes wants to join Arsenal 'as quickly as possible'.
