Joe Willock spotted as Arsenal captain in second half vs MK Dons

• Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang started the game vs MK Dons as the captain.
• After the break, the armband went to Granit Xhaka who stayed on the pitch while Auba was taken off.
• After the Swiss international was subbed off later in the second half, Joe Willock surprisingly became our skipper.
• More experienced men such as Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Matt Macey were playing when the midfielder received the armband.
• While a friendly game remains a friendly game and you can't read too much into it, this is the first time Joe has captained the Gunners.
• It has to be noted that Willock played in an unusual right wing-back role, highlighting the Academy graduate's versatility.
