According to The Athletic, David Luiz has decided to leave Arsenal in the summer upon the expiry of his current deal.
The source says the Brazilian has informed the club of his decision on Friday. The board haven't offered him a new deal yet but he's not going to consider any renewal's, adds The Athletic.
The defender joined the Gunners in the summer of 2019 from Chelsea on deadline day for £8m and has been a key centre-back from the start of his career here.
The 34-year-old is believed to be in talks with MLS clubs over a summer move.
The veteran is currently sidelined with an injury and might have already played his last game for Arsenal as there are only 2 games left until the end of the campaign.
Since the start of his spell at the Emirates, David Luiz has made 73 appearances across all competitions scoring 4 goals and bagging an assist.
