"Arsenal know what I want to do," Granit Xhaka said when asked about his future, as quoted by journalist Chris Wheatley on Twitter.
"It is very beautiful here [in Rome]."
The midfielder is heavily linked with a move to AS Roma. According to reports, the Italians are haggling over the price as Arsenal want around €20m for him while Roma offer €15m.
Xhaka joined the club in 2016. He has made 220 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 13 goals and providing 20 assists. He was instrumental in Arsenal's 2017 and 2020 FA Cup victories.
Granit is one of the most controversial players at Arsenal due to the infamous outburst during the Crystal Palace game in October 2019.
The Swiss told the jeering Emirates crowd to 'f*** off'. He was subsequently stripped of the captaincy.
